We’ve had a steady decline of intelligence and true leadership in this country. We’re now feeding off the successes of prior generations whose hard work has sustained us thus far. When you can have a President Clinton, who had no vision independent of Congress, a President Bush, who had no vision independent of Cheney, and soon a President Obama, who has no true experience other than broadly grinning, working a crowd, competing for the next job up the ladder, well, we are seeing the sun setting on this nation as we know it. The next President will be handed the keys with little fanfare, while the locksmith says, “Don’t forget to turn off the lights at the end of your term.”
