Dumping Ground for Random Thoughts

The media is portraying Barack Obama as the savior of the world. In his latest commercial, he portrays himself as the champion of the middle class. Well, Mr. Obama, your policies would hurt the middle class more than help it.

1. By choosing to increase taxes on corporations, you will put more middle class workers on the unemployment line. You talk about the person that worked in the factory for 20 years, only to see their job go overseas. Corporations are moving out of the US due to the high taxes that put them at a disadvantage in the global marketplace. Increasing the taxes on corporations will only drive more of them out of the country. Those that remain will be forced to trim back their workforce to compensate for the increase in taxes.
2. You seem to forget that those people that earn over $250,000 a year employ those of us that don’t. By increasing their taxes, you give them less disposable income for them to hire lower and middle class workers. Once again, more of the lower and middle class will be on the unemployment line.
3. The current financial crisis has your fingerprints all over it. You, Mr Biden and the rest of the Democrats had the opportunity to rain in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but you chose to do nothing about it. Rather, you chose to get rich from their tactics. People were given loans who should never have had them in the first place. Now you have your fellow Democrats have put our nation $700 billion more in debt.

If this is the change that you are wanting us to have, then we don’t want it. Your lack of action during your short term in the Senate has cost this country. You have had the opportunity to lead while in the Senate but you chose to do nothing. Why should we believe that putting you in the White House will be any different?

Also, you claim to be a Christian, but your entire platform is contrary to Biblical principals. You need to go back and read your Bible, Mr. Obama. Try starting with Exodus 20. Specifically, start with verse 17:

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house ; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

Your policies of taking from those who have and giving to those that do not have, is a direct violation of God’s Word. Go read I Kings and II Kings. Find out what happens to a nation when it turns away from God’s Word.

When you have been a middle class worker, then you can come and talk to us about how to solve our problems. You, sir, have had everything handed to you. You were given money for a Harvard education. You have been given money to run for political office. People have given you everything to groom you to run for President.

When you have to go to work every day wondering if it will be your last day of work. When you have to worry about how you’re going to feed your family and keep your home if you loose your job, then you can talk about being the champion of the middle class. However, you are as upper class as those that you are wanting to “stick it to.”

Instead of using other people’s money to help those in need, why don’t you and your wife give up your lobster, caviar and champagne snacks. Use that money to help those in need. Get off your high horse and give what you have to those in need. The best way to lead is to lead by example.

Sometimes the truth can be SO cruel!
